I actually prefer top posting since no one takes the time to trim exactly
what they are responding to. Most include the message and all replies in
the entire thread, then give a short response at the bottom. Not even worth
the scrolling.

OTOH, there's such a thing as trimming *too much*. You should leave at
least enough so that readers have a clue what you're responding to.

Particularly when you rudely delete the relevant content anyway. Not even
worth the double-click.

I suppose it doesn't matter top posting is poor usenet etiquette, either.
Not surprising.

Whoever decided that top posting was rude is wrong, I'd rather click on a
post and read the response right away instead of clicking and scroll . . .
scroll . . . scroll . . . then find something worthless.

And I never write anything worthless Geoff. It is always
prolific/cogent/insightful (and sometimes inciteful as well).
As long as you are tossing words at Neill, you got to be a good
guy. Like I am.

Neill,

So which way is it fella? If I didn't know better I would say you
were GW Bush himself - the man who speaks out of both sides of his
mouth all the time.
Earlier in this thread you said you often top post because most
people don't read the earlier post anyway. And here now you are saying
that top posting is:
"> I suppose it doesn't matter top posting is poor usenet etiquette,
either.
Not surprising." - your own words Neill.
You want some ice cream to eat with that cake as well Neill?
Jeezzzzz, you are a republicNUT.

Neill,

Who do you fashion yourself to be? Ms. Manners? Or yet another
one of those jackbooted thugs you republicans hold in such high regard?

Your turn....
